Growing a business...

I got a mail from a friend and it showed the interior of one of the Google European offices. I really don’t know how true this is but…I was flabbergasted!
It got me thinking about doing business again!
I just thought to myself my goodness…when/how will I ever be able to build a great organisation like this?
I know it is good to start small and think big (cliché!) but how does one get to this point? How does an individual start a business that will outlive him/her?
Any takers in the house?
P.S
I’ve been trying to upload the pictures that left me gobsmacked forever but I can’t seem to get a hang of it…either that or there’s a restriction on my computer(am at work!).

The only hints or advice I can offer you is start small. It can be overwhelming to think of how you will get to where some big company like google is but you can get there by setting small goals and working toward each, and building upon your previous work.

(Sorry, I don't use blogger so I can't help the the photo uploading issues.)

Well start small and dont spend all the proceeds on bling blings and champagne...stay away from the super models, employ the brains...dont do drugs...become miserly to yourself and others..put the profit back into the biz and you'll do just fine!!!

Or steal the money and start big...

Hmmm, "..........start small..." is there any such things???
Thot it should be learn the ropes (mastery of the technique, what's refered to as start small), then, leave yourself to inspiration. These you do without forgetting human relations.

Thanks all for your comments...will definitely put this in mind and not be intimidated by "huge" coys...knowing fully well that they started small as well.
I intend to think BIG!

Interesting question. Its good to have something big to look forward to, as it helps to drive you.

I'll also encourage that you be as professional as possible even in the littlest things concerning the business... keep the books properly (if you can't, try and learn how to, or at least write everything down in a clear way).
