You don't have to take it...

When people pronounce negative words into your life, you don't have to take it...
You can't change what they say about you but you sure can control what goes into you...the choice is yours...
when you know who you are...(in Christ) and the fact that you're secure in His love...it really doesn't matter...
...As a matter of fact, that is their opinion and they are entitled to it...
In the scheme of what God thinks about you,it is a minute and inconsequential issue...Chin Up!!!



Saw one of my old journals and decided to put one of them up.... I guess different people have their reasons for journaling...I journal if I'm feeling low,very high,encouraged,inspired,motivated....in summary...I journal whenever,however,wherever....
...I was probably spoken to with a negative tone or I overheard some one use negative tones to talk to another...

But the truth is...the choice is yours...YOU really DON'T have to take it!!!

therefore, people can say whatever they want to say, but I Know that nothing they say will stick to me..

growing up, my dad said many hurtful things 2 all of us children. wen we gather together & recall it, we nearly feel like killing him. but i can tell u now, it was d desire 2 prove him dead-wrong dat made me d person i am today. if someone says mean things 2 do, it gets me down 4 a while, den i resolve 2 shut dem up!

I usually "reject" negative statements...(it could even be from people I consider precious to me, yet if their statements do not seat right with me...I have learned to simply reject them, seriously!).

@Qmoney...the journals are safely kept where prying eyes won't have access to it!!!!:-)

@FFF...I am honestly proud of you!...some people hear hurtful words from their parents and allow it to shape their lives negatively(stumbling block)...you took the same hurtful words and made it a stepping stone for you...now that is what I call inspiring!!!

@Jaycee...Yes o!!!...I do that as well...I don't care where or who the word is coming from...if it is not acceptable...I totally reject it...not necessarily verbally but I still reject it sha!

Thankful Saturday V6

Hey peops, hope you all had a beautiful valentine's day...can't wait to hear from you guys on your hot and not so hot dates!:-) Was meant to put this up yesterday but couldn't 'cos NoLimit was busy soaking all the fun in the world up..."no dulling" at all!!!London was agog over this so called Valentine's day celebration!!!...People were busy exchanging spit(borrowing Verastic Vera's term) all over the place...some just needed to get a room men!*sniff*sniff* not that I'm beefing them o...:-)...but seriously I am still amazed that 50% of marriages in the UK end in divorce...yet people show so much PDA(Public Display of Affection)...God help us all! This thankfulness post has really helped me to see God in a new light...I am more conscious of happenings around me...by the way I just had a feeling of dejavu!!!...I think I've typed this before!lol ignore me... Yeah...where was I?...I am more conscious of my environment...I need to keep thanking Him

Was stuck on the train in the middle of no where for a while...national rail can like to get their acts together!What better time to write/type than then:) Here are the random thoughts that came to me based on Vera's radio show...but before then, enjoy this track...
